Marcia Neill Biography

Mrs. Neill began her teaching career as an RN and credentialed educator providing continuing education for nursing personnel and paramedics.

As her four children arrived, she volunteered and was employed by several Catholic schools.

In 1991, the Neill family began homeschooling.  Mrs. Neill established St. Michael the Archangel Academy, a private school serving home schooling Catholic families with children in K through 12th grades, and is the current director.

Mrs. Neill promotes history as a core subject and found that using a timeline was an excellent visual aid to recognize the relationships between political, social, economical and religious events and how they contributed to eastern and western civilizations.

Mrs. Neill is a contributing author, public speaker and active in  homeschooling support groups. She teaches in her parish RCIA program and at her local community pregnancy center.
